Yesterday saw the physical being held for Wednesday's world title fights. At that physical we found that WBA Light Flyweight champion Ryoichi Taguchi (21-2-1, 8) was 7.5Cm taller than his upcoming challenger Kwanthai Sithmorseng (49-3-1, 26).
Today we saw the weigh in for that bout and saw Taguchi come the heavier man, a little over 107¾lbs whilst the Thai challenger came in closer to 107½lbs.
At the weigh in the height difference between the two men was clear though both men did look in tremendous shape with both looking ripped and very strong at the weight.
For Taguchi this will be the first defense of the title he won in December, when he defeated Alberto Rossel. Whilst for Kwanthai it will see him attempting to become a 2-weight world champion, more than 4 years after he claimed the WBA Minimumweight title.
