Tomorrow fight fans in Hyogo will see former world title challengers face off in an interesting bout, and a must win for both men.
The bout in question will see Riku Kano (11-2-1, 6) [加納 陸] battling Filipino Jerry Tomogdan (22-8-4, 10) with the winner set to claim the WBO Asia Pacific Minimumweight title.
Today the two men weighed in for the bout and both made weight for the contest.
On the scales Kano was the heavier man, weighing in at 104.7lbs, and the youngster looked in great shape and seemed full of confidence, with it being clear that he views this bout as his chance to get a second world title down the line.
As for Tomogdan he was 104.3lbs, well under the limit. Like Kano he seemed confident and looked pretty sure of taking home the win, though he will clearly be the under-dog and seems to be aware of his position coming into the fight.
