Tomorrow fans in Korea will get the chance to see the Korean debut of former world champion Randall Bailey (45-8-0-1, 38). The American, who recently signed with Korean promotional outfit AK Promotions, will be making his Korean debut in a bout against aggressive Japanese fighter Shusaku Fujinaka (12-5-2, 8) in a bout for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific Welterweight title.
Today, ahead of that bout, the two men took part in their weigh in and, thankfully, both men made weight at the first time of asking.
On the scales Bailey was just under the limit, making the 147lbs like a professional and not over-draining in the slightest. Fujinaka on the other hand was well under the limit weighing in just over 146.25lbs.
As well as being heavier Bailey was also the taller man at the weigh in and is clearly the more experienced and more powerful. On the other hand he is 41 and is fighting in Asia for the first time, two things that Fujinaka may be able to use to his advantage.
