On August 22nd fans in Chile will see well traveled Japanese fighter Tenkai Tsunami (21-10, 10) take on local favourite Carolina Rodriguez (14-0, 1). The bout, for Rodriguez's IBF female Bantamweight title, is one of the biggest bouts to ever take place in Chile, where Rodriguez is their only ever world champion.
Originally the bout was scheduled for the start of August but was pushed back to the 22nd and has since seen a poster released to help advertise the bout in Antofagasta.
Sadly the poster is a very basic one with the two fighters and the shows details, such as date, time and venue. Despite being a simple poster we are glad to see one made and we are very happy that an attempt to promote the bout has occurred, despite the difficulties that those involved in the show have had with the regional government, but that's another issue.
What poster doesn't mention is that the bout will be televised on Chilean TV. The channel said to be carrying the bout is CHV, Chilevisión. The channel appears to have it's own stream on it's website though a test reveals that it only seems to work with a proxy and may not be available come fight time.
