Late last week Japanese fighter Ryosuke Iwasa (18-1, 11) confirmed that his bout with Sergio Perales (24-2, 16), an IBF Bantamweight world title eliminator, would take place on February 18th at the Korakuen Hall whilst also posting up an image of the poster for the show which features as the central figure. We suspect the poster will be changed for the fight, when it comes around, though it's nice to see an early design of the poster.
Sadly whilst the fighter confirmed the date and venue for the bout there no mention of the under-card. That will hopefully come in the new year, though is admittedly unlikely to come from Iwasa himself.
For the Japanese fighter this represents his biggest opportunity to move towards a world title fight and in fact a win could see him getting his opportunity at the belt by the end of the year. It's not the easiest fight he'll ever have but it is one that he'll be expected to win.
