Tomorrow Japanese fans at the Korakuen Hall will get the chance to see former world title challenger Hidenori Otake (24-2, 11) [大竹 秀典] battle against little known Thai Satantung Sor Bangkhru (0-1). The bout, a stay busy contest for Otake who looks set to become a fully fledged Featherweight, is Otake's third since his world title bout in the UK with Scott Quigg.
Today on the scales Otake was 125¼lbs, one of the highest of his career so far. Satantung on the other hand was around 123½lbs, well under the Featherweight limit.
Although the men were vastly different in their weight both looked in tremendous condition. Sadly for the Thai his condition isn't likely to matter given his lack of experience compared to Otake.
Also on this card is an interesting match up between Shusaku Fujinaka (12-6-2, 8) [藤中 周作] and Takashi Inagaki (17-13-2, 7) [稲垣 孝]. Sadly at the time of writing we haven't been provided the weight for either fighter.
