Tomorrow Japanese fans will have the chance to see a potentially brilliant Japanese Super Featherweight title fight, as defending champion Kenichi Ogawa (17-1, 14) [尾川 堅一] battles mandatory challenger Satoru Sugita (11-2-1, 7) [杉田 聖].
Today both of those men weighed in and both made the 130lb weight limit.
On the scales Ogawa was the heavier man, weighing in around 129.85lbs, 58.9KG's, and he seemed incredibly confident, talking about winning by KO and even moving towards a world title fight in the near future. Given his exciting style and current run his confidence is no surprise and the Teiken man really was one of the many fighters who made real strides last year.
Sugita was the slightly lighter man weighing in at 129.63lbs, 58.8KG's, but he looked in great shape and seems to know that this is his chance to make a name for himself and potentially kick start his career.
For those fans interested in watching this bout it will be aired on G+ tomorrow between 17:45 and 22:00.
