Tomorrow Osaka fans are in for a treat with a huge number of fights taking place in Osaka city. Among those fights is an OPBF Lightweight title fight between unbeaten champion Masayoshi Nakatani (11-0, 6) [中谷 正義], who will be looking to move to world level later in the year, and the exciting but flawed Tosho Makoto Aoki (20-13-2, 17) [闘将 青木 誠].
At the weigh in the 37 year old Aoki stated that if he lost he'd retire, and it seems that that has really driven him into getting into good shape and he has been spending time training in the Philippines, where he has focused on improving his stamina.
As for Nakatani, the clear favourite, it seems the intent is to go for an early stoppage to make an impression and defend his title before Aoki's power can have any effect on him, rather than getting into a tough and messy affair with the challenger.
