Tomorrow Korean fans get the chance to enjoy some real quality fights as well as the debut of one of the best ever Pakistani amateur fighters.
That Pakistani fighter is Muhammad Waseem (0-0) who begins his career tomorrow in a 10 round bout for the Korean (KBC) Bantamweight title against Min Wook Lee (2-2).
Today the two fighters weighed in and, thankfully, both men made weight.
The heavier of the two men was Waseem who weighed in at 117.9lbs, or 53.48kg, which is .1lbs inside the divisional limit. Lee on the other hand was 117.5lbs, or 53.3kg, which is 0.5lbs inside the divisional limit for the bout.
Whilst is only the co-main event we've got to admit that we're really excited to see Waseem in action with some sources suggesting he could be the map to put Pakistan boxing on the map. It's a big ask but we've got to say we have been impressed from the footage that has been released of him by his Korean team, lead by Andy Kim.
