We've known for a while that MBS (Mainichi Breadcasting System) would be televising next weeks Japanese title double header but until today we were unaware of the time slow for the card.
Today we were informed that the telecast will begin at 2:34am on Thursday morning and will run for just over an hour, ending at 3:35am local time.
The card, which is clearly on tape delay, will air footage from the Bantamweight title bout, which will see Shohei Omori (14-0, 9) defending his belt against Hirofumi Mukai (11-3-2, 1, and the Lightweight title bout, between defending champion Kota Tokunaga (15-2, 10) and Yuhei Suzuki (16-4, 12).
The bouts will have the great Hozumi Hasegawa doing commentary for them and will have previously been aired on GAORA, who will be airing the bouts live.
Sadly it does seem that fans outside of Kansai region will not be able to watch these bouts either live or on the tape delay. Hopefully though footage will reach the internet within a few days of the fight.
