Back in July we reported that a rematch between WBO female Minimumweight champion Kumiko Seeser Ikehara (8-1-2, 3) [池原シーサー久美子] and Kayoko Ebata (9-6, 5) [江畑 佳代子] had been set for September 21st. At the time however little was known about the card, other than the man event.
Today we were informed about the under-card, which is set to be an all female card under the "Dangan Women's" banner.
The main under-card bout will feature Ayumi Goto (4-0, 3) fighting in her first 6 rounder. The Southpaw who debuted last November will be trading blows with a Thai opponent, though sadly we know little about the Thai. So far Goto has been near perfect and shown her talent both at home, with 3 bouts in Japan, and on the road, winning against Wondergirl Sithsaithong in Thailand.
The second main under-card bout will be the debut of former amateur stand out Ayako Minowa [箕輪 綾子] who also faces a Thai that we know nothing about in a 6 rounder. Although we've no real idea who the Thai is the focus here is clearly on the debutant who some are suggesting will be fast tracked following her excellent amateur pedigree, which saw her fighting in several women's world championships. As with Goto's bout this is a scheduled 6 rounder.
All the other bouts on the card are scheduled for 4 rounds
