Masatoshi Kotani (17-2, 13) may not be one of the names we're used to see but yesterday in Okinawa he impressed as he took out Indonesian fighter Ramli Pasaribu (9-7-1, 4) in just 53 seconds. The bout was a supposed chief support bout but turned into little more than a show case for Kotani who was dubbed "The Okinawa Tyson.
Although the bout was over very quickly, courtesy of a monstrous shot from Kotani, it did feature notable scene after the bout where Kotani threw his hat into the ring to fight for the OPBF Super Featherweight title in 2016.
The heavy handed Okinawan stated that he was hoping to get a bout with the winner of the upcoming contest between Masayuki Ito and Shingo Eto, who meet on December 14th. Notably this was his 7th straight win and saw him continue a winning run that dates back more than 3 years
Note-Boxrec appears to have an incomplete reocrd of Pasaribu, as they often do for Indonesian fighters.
