One thing everyone here at Asian Boxing wants to see is a return to form for Korean boxing. It's a shame that professional boxing in the country is really on it's knees and the country that gave us some of the most exciting warriors of the 1980's and 1990's haven't been able to develop a world class talent in a generation.
The KBC, Korean Boxing Commission, seems to under-stand that the country is having problems in the way they view professional boxing and on June 14th will be promoting the sport, especially prospects with a card dubbed "KO PARADE".
The show, which will be held in the Deagu High School, appears to have 8 bouts scheduled for it though we're unsure on all the participants.
We know we're in a small minority but we really do hope that this show can be a success and help unveil a special Korean talent to help the country rise back to become a real force in world boxing.
We know that Ja Ik Goo, Min Wook Kim and In Ho Cha are promising fighters but they can't carry on their own and if another prospect can be found then we'll be excited about the potential long term success of Korean boxing, something that we didn't expect we could say when we first started this site around a year ago.
