Tomorrow fight fans in Japan will be able to see OPBF Middleweight champion Koki Tyson (11-2-2, 10) [太尊 康輝] defending his title against Korean challenger Sung Jae Ahn (6-3, 1). Today, ahead of their bout, the two fighters took part in their weigh in with both men making weight for the contest.
Tyson, defending the belt for the first time, came in at the divisional limit of 160lbs. He looked in great shape at the weight in and seemed very releaxed ahead of what is, essentially, a make or break fight for his career. A win will see him move towards bigger and better fights whilst a loss would see his title reign being a very and disappointing one.
The challenger, who looked notably smaller than the champion was around 158.75lbs on the scales, and although he looked in good shape himself he did look to be a man who who had almost blown up in weight, as opposed to losing weight to make the limit.
The bout will headline "You will the Champion 8" and will be available on demand on boxingraise.com for those interested in watching the contest.
