Earlier this year we reported that former 3-weight world champion Koki Kameda [亀田 興毅] had taken over the training duties for his younger brother Tomoki Kameda (33-2, 20) [亀田和毅].
Today saw a press conference to announce that Koki now has another student training under him, boxer-model Tomomi Takano (9-2, 6) [高野 人母美] who will return to the ring on May 26th against Kai Johnson (5-10-3, 2) [カイ・ジョンソン] as A-Sign Bee Vol 3.
The bout will see Takano attempt to avenge one of her two defeats, having suffered a 5th round TKO loss to Johnson back in June 2014. Since then however Takano has gone 4-1, winning an OPBF title and challenging for a world title. As for Johnson things have gone down hill with 4 straight losses, though all 4 were by decision.
The bout is the latest addition to the third A-sign show which is starting to look like a really promising card and another stacked show under the A-sign Bee banner.
