Every so often we get “world title” bouts that really shouldn't be sanctioned as world title bouts. This coming Wednesday sees one such bout as WBA Super Flyweight champion Kohei Kono (31-8-1, 13) [河野 公平] faces Thai challenger Inthanon Sithchamuang (28-7-1, 15) [อินทนนท์ ศิษย์ชะมวง], in a bout that looks likely to be one of the biggest mismatches of the year.
The bookies seem to agree with our view and have made Kono a thoroughly unbackable favourite with odds as “good” as 1/66, though typically available at 1/100. So unbackable is Kono that one bookie has priced him as 1/350!
If you do fancy picking an upset of the year contender Inthanon is available at around 15/1, though he was best priced at a tremendous 19/1! For NFL fans, that's about the same odds you'd get on the Dallas Cowboys to win next years Superbowl
