Tomorrow Japanese fans in Tokyo will get the chance to see WBA Super Flyweight champion Kohei Kono (31-8-1, 13) [河野 公平] defending his title against Thai challenger Inthanon Sithchamuang (28-7-1, 15) [อินทนนท์ ศิษย์ชะมวง],. Today, ahead of that contest, the two men weight in for the bout and both made the 115lbs weight limit for the bout with no issues at all.
At the weigh in both men made the weight with ease, weighing in at around 114.42lbs.
On the scales Kono looked in incredible shape, as he always does, whilst Inthanon looked good, but not incredible.
For Kono the weight seems to be a career low, with hie previous recorded lowest being around 114.75lbs. For Inthanon, who looked somewhat gaunt in the face, the weight is slightly heavier than he weighed in at back in 2014's win over Taminkhao Sor Thanthip and his 2013 loss to Mark Anthony Geraldo.
