It appears that Korean fight fans have had a few reasons to celebrate recently. Not only has Andy Kim began work on a notable show for October but the KBF have themselves announced a double header for a pair of their titles, albeit in bouts that will not be recorded on the boxrec.com database, and as a result will be very difficult to pin down names and records.
From what we understand the titles up for grabs will be the KBF Middleweight and KBF Bantamweight titles.
The Middleweight title fight appears to be between Hyun-Kyum Park (6-1-1, 3) and Je-Ni Ma (5-1-3, 4)*. Whilst neither man looks to be a star in the making we do like the look of the bout which does appears to be highly competitive, at least on paper.
As for the Bantamweight bout that will feature Jin-Wook Lim (7-2, 1) battling Hyuk Tak Joo (4-1-3)**. On paper this is another intriguing contest, though less even than the other one. According to the KBF both of these men are 24 years old and both will be looking for their biggest wins to date.
The KBF website states these bouts will be shown on Korean channel MBC Sports+ and will take place in Daegu.
*According to boxrec.com Park is 5-0 (3) whilst Ma is 4-1-3 (3) though both men are missing bouts fought under the auspices of the KBF
** According to boxrec.com Joo is 1-2 whilst Lim is 6-3-4 (1), both of these records seem to contradict the numbers provided by the KBF.
