According to sources in Argentina it seems the next 2 bouts of Japanese star, and current WBA "regular" Flyweight champion Kazuto Ioka (17-1, 10) are set,
According to the sources the first will take place on September 20th in Osaka, venue yet to be confirmed, and will see Ioka defending his title against Roberto Domingo Sosa (26-2-1, 14) in what will be a voluntary defense of Ioka's title. This will be Ioka's first defense of the Flyweight title and see him facing a man who recently appeared in the WBA ranking's at #12, though wasn't actually ranked in the previous month's rankings.
The second bout, unsurprisingly, will take place on New Year's Year and is set to to see Ioka rematching Juan Carlos Reveco (35-2, 19), the man who Ioka beat for the title back in April. Apparently the bout was so controversial that the WBA ordered a rematch, though gave Ioka a chance to slip in a voluntary defense, presumably due to the fact they knew they'd get a significantly larger sanctioning fee by waiting until the end of the year for the bout, and the lovely money that TBS will pour into the bout.
Whilst neither bout has been officially announced in Japan both are said to have been announced in Argentina, suggesting we are merely waiting for the Japanese promoter, Ioka, to confirm the bout in the next week or so.
