Earlier today we were informed that Irish based bookies Paddy Power had put up odds for the upcoming Flyweight title bout between Japanese star Kazuto Ioka (15-1, 9) and Venezuelan fighter Jean Piero Perez (20-7-1, 14). Sadly the odds are as untouchable as they get and, at the moment, worth ignoring.
Ioka, a former 2-weight world champion, has been made the clear favourite. That's not surprising however he has been priced at a frankly untouchable 1/80, odds that are incredibly unlikely to get many takers. Perez has been priced up as a 14/1 under-dog with the draw currently priced at 30/1.
Sadly at the moment it's only Paddy Power offering this fight and the only market currently available is the "To Win" market. Hopefully as we approach the fight, which is set for December 31st, more bookmakers will join the party and open up new markets including the markets for a stoppage.
