Earlier today Japanese hopeful Kazuki Saito (1-0, 1) [斎藤 一貴] made his debut at the Korakuen Hall, in a bout streamed on boxingraise. The bout was the show opener but the former amateur standout impressed all that saw him, with a calm and composed performance that saw him easily dispose of a horribly over-matched Thai opponent.
Saito quickly established his rhythm and found a home for his body shots in the opening round, with those shots landing cleanly and crisply on the Thai. They weren't the most hurtful of shots but they were all damaging, punches, and they all took their toll on the visitor.
In the second round Saito managed to drop his man who made no attempt to beat the count with Saito securing his debut win after 1 minute 19 seconds of the second round
