On February 26th we'll see Tatsuya Fukuhara (18-4-6, 7) [福原 辰弥] battle against Moises Calleros (25-6-1, 14) for the WBO "interim" Minimumweight title. The win of that will then be the mandatory challenger for current champion Katsunari Takayama (31-8-0-1, 12) [高山 勝成].
Today Takayama spoke to members of the boxing media in Japan and announced that the eye injury he suddered last year is healing well and he should be back in the ring around May time, to face either Fukuhara or Calleros. He may also watch the interim title fight up close, though it comes just 2 days before he attends a graduation ceremony following his time at high school, which has been a focus of Takayama's over the last few years.
It seems that after Takayama's May bout he will then begin to look towards moving up in weight, in an attempt to become a 2-weight champion and end his career having finally achieved that goal, having already achieved a major goal in becoming a Grandslam champion.
