Late yesterday in Mexico the media were in attendance for the weight in for the upcoming IBF Flyweight eliminator between former Light Flyweight champion John Riel Casimero (20-2, 12) and Armando Santos (14-3-1, 8). Thankfully both men have made weight and the bout will go on as set with no changes to the conditions of the contest.
Santos weighed in the lighter man at 111.5lbs, some 4lbs lighter than he was for his draw with Javier Franco back in August. Casimero on the other hand was bang on the limit at 112lbs, also lighter than he was in his last contest where he weighed 113.75lbs, if is however one of the heaviest weights of his career as he's filled into a fully blown Flyweight.
At the weigh in both men looked confident and in great shape and now it's just a case of winning a bout that will put the winner in the driving seat for a world title fight at the beginning of 2015.
