This coming Friday sees two Japanese fighters competing in Australia, with each fighting for a title. Today we can report that both fighters have arrived down under safely for the bouts.
The fighters in question are Hurricane Futa (20-6-1, 11) [ハリケーン風太], who faces the once touted and exciting Will Tomlinson (25-2-1, 13) in a bout for the WBA "interim" Oceania Lightweight title, whilst the other 3-weight OPBF champion Kimika Miyoshi (13-8-1, 5) [三好 喜美佳], who drops to Super Bantamweight to challenge WBC Silver champion Shannon O'Connell (12-4-1, 7) in a really intriguing match up.
The bouts will be the head line fights on a show in Victoria and whilst both of the visitors are expected to come up short they will both be looking to give their all and bring home new belts for their trophy cabinets, and both are confident of doing just that.
