It's fair to say that almost all our attention for tomorrow is set on Japan, where we will see 5 world title bouts spread across 3 shows. Remarkably however they aren't the only shows set to take place tomorrow as Indonesian fans in Pontianak will get the chance to see one of their brightest young talents.
That youngster is 19 year old hopeful Iwan Zoda (7-1, 6) who will face Thai visitor Phupha Por Nobnom (11-9-1, 10) in a 10 round contest.
For Zoda this will be his first bout since he stopped Petchchorhae Kokietgym, back in September in what was a break out win for the 19 year old Indonesian who avenged his sole defeat. The title he won in that bout, the WBO Asia Pacific Flyweight title, will not be on the line here, but it is still exciting to finally know that Zoda is back.
As for his opponent, Phupha has mixed in good company, with bout against Tepparith Kokietgym, Richie Mepranum and Albert Pagara, though all 3 men beat him comfortably, just as we expect Zoda to do here.
For those who have perhaps forgotten Zoda we have included his big win below.
