Tomorrow fight fans in Japan will see the Champion Carnival kick off with a highly anticipated Japanese Super Bantamweight title fight between defending champion Yasutaka Ishimoto (29-8, 8) [石本 康隆] and mandatory challenger Yusaku Kuga (13-2-1, 9) [久我 勇作], with the two men facing off for the second time.
Today those two men weighed in for their bout, and both fighters made weight for the contest.
On the scales both men were 55.2KG's, or around 121.7lbs,coming in comfortably under the limit and looking in great shape.
At the weigh in both men seemed confident and both suggested they had improved from the fighters they were in their first bout, which Ishimoto narrowly won. Ishimoto seems to be feeling like he is still improving, desite being into his 30's and with almost 40 bouts under his belt, whilst Kuga stated he would win by any means.
For fans interested in watching this one it will be shown live on G+ tomorrow in Japan.
