Tomorrow Japanese fans will get the chance to see WBO super Flyweight champion Naoya Inoue (9-0, 8) [井上 尚弥] defending title against mandatory challenger David Carmona (20-2-5, 8).
Today those two men took part in the weigh in for their bout.
On the scales Inoue made the weight bang on, making the divisional limit of 115lbs whilst looking incredible at the weight. Notably he suggested he was in the best condition of his career. A worrying comment for the Super Flyweight division.
As for Carmona he was originally over-weight, weighing in at around 115.3lbs. He later came back to the scales and weighed in around 114lbs, well under the limit. Between the first and second weigh in he took part in an hour long run in the sun.
Despite struggling to make weight Carmona looked smaller than Inoue and didn't look in great shape, that's not to say he was out of shape but he certainly didn't look incredible at the weigh in.
