Earlier today we were informed that exciting Korean Hyun Woo Yuh (5-2, 5) [유현우] would be returning to the ring on October 9th to challenge KBF Light Welterweight champion Dong Hee Kim (5-1-1, 1) [김동희].
Yuh began his career with a perfect 5-0 (5) run, claiming the WBC Asian Boxung Council Silver title along the way. The he has lost his last 2 bouts, suffering a split decision to Sonny Katiandagho and a unanimous decision loss to Koki Inoue, in a bout that can be seen below. Despite those loss to international fighters the KBF have kept Yuh highly ranked leaving him eligible to fight for their title.
Hee won the title in February, with a decision over Woo Shin Kim, and has also taken 3 unbeaten records during his career. Sadly we've not seen any footage of kim though looking at his record it's fair to say he's not a puncher and will haveto use all of his skills to over-come the fearsome and ultra-aggressive Yuh, who throws everything with bad intentions.
