We're now only a few hours from the huge Middleweight title bout that pits WBC, IBF, IBO and WBA “Super” champion Gennady Golovkin (36-0, 33) up against WBA “regular” champion Daniel Jacobs (32-1, 29). Unsurprisingly money has gone on the bout and numerous bookies have got a nice selection of markets available for, arguably, the biggest bout the year so far.
The Kazakh is priced as the favourite, with odds from 1/9 to 3/19, to win out right. For those looking for a bit more value however Golovkin by stoppage is priced at around 1/4, though the best odds available are 6/19, whilst a decision win for the Kazakh is priced at around 5/1, with the best odds available at 31/5.
For fans looking at the upset Jacob's is priced at at around 5/1 to win, though he can be backed as high as 61/10 for gamblers willing to look around. As with Golovkin thee is better value on the method to win markets, with Jacobs by stoppage priced at 8/1 and JAcobs by decision available as high as 25/1!
As for those interested in the draw the odds on that are 35/1.
Of course given the odds of the two men to score stoppages, and the reputation both men have as punchers, it should be no surprise that the bout is 1/4 to not go the distance and 10/3 to hear the final bell. As for the Over/Under is seems the bookies are expecting the boiuyt to end in round 6 or 7, with Under 6.5 rounds being priced at Evens, and over 7.5 rounds also being Evens.
Golovkin and Jacobs clash in battle for Middleweight supremacy!
