We're sad to report that the WBA Lightweight title bout between unbeaten Russian puncher Eduard Troyanovsky (17-0, 14) and reigning champion Richar Abril (18-3-1, 8) of Cuba has been delayed, again.
The two, who were set to fight on April 25th have seen their bout rescheduled to June 7th after the Russian puncher suffered a small fracture to one of his fingers whilst training for the bout.
This is the second time this bout has been rescheduled though last time it was done to Abril, who had actually pulled out of a title defence with Jorge Linares last year due to an ankle or foot injury.
Although the bout has been moved from the April date the old saying "the show must go one" has been used and no other bout from the show is affected so we're still getting much anticipated rematch between Denis Lebedev (25-2, 19) and Guillermo Jones (39-3-2, 31) for the WBA Cruiserweight title.
