Just a few moments ago we noticed that Irish on line bookies had put up odds for several of Friday nights bouts. ne of those was the bout between the unbeaten Cletus Seldin (13-0, 10) and the Mongolian born Bayarn Jargal (17-5-3, 11). Sadly for Jargal the betting firm have him as a clear under-dog priced at 3/1 whilst Seldin is priced as the obvious favourite at 1/4 with the draw 20/1.
Whilst we have no issues at all with Seldin being the favourite, in fact we'd favour him to win, we do think the odds are a little hard on the "The Mongolian Mongoose" who has shown himself to be tough enough to give fighters issues even if he does tend to fall short against the best he has faced, such as Chris Algieri, Briedis Prescott and Zaheer Raheem. Whilst Seldin is unbeaten this is a serious step up for the man known as the "Hebrew Hammer" and it could be much more difficult than it looks on paper, especially given that Jargal has the typical "Mongolian warrior spirit".
(Note-We do not advocate gambling and are using the odds for illustrative purposes of how the bookies have this fight. Gambling can be an addictive and expensive habit.)
