One of the very best fights of 2013 took place on August 1st in Thailand where Japanese visitor Koki Eto fought Thai stalwart Kompayak Porpramook in a battle for the interim WBA Flyweight title. If you'd seen either man before this fight you're realise they would be exciting shadow boxing so when they got in the ring together this was a sure fire war. If you've not seen this we won't spoil the result but it really is an amazing fight which shows the lengths two warriors will go to in their attempt to become a "world champion". Both men show real heart and determination, boundless energy and flat out aggression in a fight that we can't help but love despite how sickly savage it is. Amazingly Eto would continue to be in thrillers and in June 2014 he was involved in another barn burner when he fought Ardin Diale. Whilst it wasn't quite as good as this bout it's another that is worth watching if you like savagery in the ring. (Video courtesy of Yoko Gushiken/youtube)
