In 2008 Zhang Zhilei claimed an Olympic silver medal. In his first bout Zhilei defeated the hapless Moroccan Mohamed Amanissi, in what was a very one sided and pointless bout. In his second bout however Zhilei was forced to work for his win as he faced Kazakhstan's Ruslan Myrsatayev. This time around Zhilei didn't have things all his own way, notably in round 2 , though he did win pretty clearly on the cards. Zhilei again showed some nice traits, and we don't just mean his size. He impressed with his jab and his understanding of distance and also showed some nice power at times. Though he also showed a number of issues, including a total lack of an inside game. In many way he actually looked like like a cheap southpaw version of Wladimir Klitschko. This win guaranteed Zhilei a bronze medal though that quickly became a silver when Vyacheslav Glazkov was unable to compete in the semi-final. (Video courtesy of Крутые Кадры)
