"Bigger" fighters in Asia are rare and as a result we sometimes see some of them struggling for opponents especially in terms of regional foes. This seems to have become an issue for the heavy handed Yuzo Kiyota in recent years with the OPBF Super Middleweight champion having fought back-to-back non-title fights since reclaiming the title late last year. The first of those non-title bouts saw Kiyota battling against Mexican Victor Palacios in what always supposed to be a stay busy fight for the interesting and heavy handed Kiyota. We won't pretend this bout was anything more than it was. It was, for all intents, an easy win for the Japanese fighter but for those who haven't seen him before this is worth a watch given that we suspect he could be in some exciting bouts if he can find an opponent willing to fight him at a similar level, something Palacios really wasn't capable of.
