September 1st 2018-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Yuta Saito (10-9-3, 7) vs Eita Kikuchi (21-5-4, 8) Through much of 2018 the Japanese Bantamweight title has been vacant, with Ryo Akaho vacating the belt when he was unable to make weight for a bout in January. Since then we've seen 2 vacant title bouts being cancelled, with the vacancy only being filled today, after almost 8 months. The bout to fill the vacancy saw Yuta Saito [齊藤裕太] face off with Eita Kikuchi [菊地永太], with both men desperate to get the gold around their waist and claim their most significant win to date.
