June 13th 1968-Tokyo, Japan Yoshiaki Numata (34-5, 9) vs Kang Il Suh (38-10, 11) II In 1966 Japan's Yoshiaki Numata [沼田義明] lost a decision to Korean Kang Il Suh [서강일]. The two men would meet for a rematch in 1968. *As you can likely understand, this is more than 50 years old so the quality of footage isn't amazing.

October 4th 1969-Sports Arena, Los Angeles, California, USA Yoshiaki Numata (37-5-2, 10) Vs Mando Ramos (26-3, 18) In 1969 Japanese fighter Yoshiaki Numata challenged the then WBA and WBC Lightweight champion Mando Ramos. December 14th 1967-Kokugikan, Tokyo, Japan Hiroshi Kobayashi (50-6-2, 7) vs Yoshiaki Numata (33-4, 9) In 1967 Super Featherweight champion Hiroshi Kobayashi [小林弘] battled compatriot Yoshiaki Numata [沼田義明] in a bout for both the WBC and WBA titles, both held by Kobayashi coming into this bout. |
