In 2001 Japan's Hiroshi Nakano faced off with Thai foe Wanmeechok Singwancha, who was making his debut. Coming in to this bout Nakano was the OPBF Flyweight champion, and for those who followed the Asian scene back in the 00's they may well recall that Wanmeechok would go on to claim an OPBF title of hs own.
