October 30th 2004-Kokugikan, Tokyo, Japan Toshiaki Nishioka (23-4-3, 14) vs Yoshikane Nakajima (15-5-5, 4) In 2004 Japanese fans saw Toshiaki Nishioka [西岡利晃] face off with compatriot Yoshikane Nakajima [中島吉謙], the then Japanese Super Bantamweight champion. The bout was Nishioka's first following his second defeat to Veeraphol Sahaprom and marked his first bout as a fully fledged Super Bantamweight, having previously campaigned at Bantamweight.

For those that missed it here it is. Incidentally, it was the second time Nishioka travelled to face a notable Mexican after having previously travelled to face Jhonny Gonzalez in Mexico. |
