Takuma Hayashi Vs Akira Takasuka

The 18 year old Takuma Hayashi may not be regarded as one of Japan's top prospects but he is certainly viewed as a promising young fighter and with that in mind he was moved up a level this past weekend when he was matched with the more experienced Akira Takasuka in a the first 6 round bout of Hayashi's career. The contest proved to be the test Hayashi's team would have wanted for their man and although Hayashi didn't dominate it did allow his team to really assess where their team was in his development.

Whilst Hayashi could have had a much easier bout than this he'll have developed more from this bout than a number of easier contests
