There is more televised mismatches in the country than almost anywhere, in fact many TV broadcasts are just mismatch after mismatch. Whilst it can be frustrating to follow it can also be enthralling with a number of brilliant bouts fought in the country every year and some genuinely amazing fighters. One bout that look wonderful on paper was a WBC Super Flyweight eliminator between local favourite Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and Mexican visitor Jose Salgado. Both men had fought at the world level and both were hunting a win here to get themselves a bout with WBC champion Carlos Cuadras. On paper this was one of the best bouts we've seen in a very long time. (Video courtesy to tko.in.th) |
