September 8th 2011-Yunhe Middle School Gymnasium Pizhou, China Qu Peng (1-0) vs Abu Dusong (0-0) Back in 2011 China's Qu Peng [曲鹏] was just starting his professional career. In September he took on the then debuting Abu Dusong. December 22nd 20120-Haikou, China Qu Peng (1-0-1)* Vs Ade Alfons (16-17-3, 5) Over the last few years we have seen a rise in Chinese boxing and Qu Peng [曲鹏] has actually been featured on a number of televised cards, and has made his US debut. Here we see an early career bout of Peng as he takes on Ade Alfons. *Note- Peng is announced as having a 7-0-1 (2) record, suggesting either unrecorded or unofficial bouts. July 9th 2016-Multi-Functional Hall, Water Cube, Beijing, China Qu Peng (10-1-1, 6) vs Evy Johannes Akoundou (0-1) Earlier today Chinese fans saw Light Heavyweight hopeful Qu Peng [曲鹏] face off against Chinese based Frenchman Evy Johannes Akoundou. April 24th 2015- Capital Gym, Beijing, China Qu Peng (6-1-1, 4) Vs Dane Campbell (3-2, 2) Boxing really does have some ridiculously stupid titles. One of which is the WBO China National Light Heavyweight title which we saw up for grabs recently when Qu Peng battled Australian visitor Dane Campbell. For what it's worth we're not sure how an Australian qualifies for a "China National" title. |
