November 25th 2002-orakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Koji Arisawa (26-2-2, 20) vs Gota Katabuchi (7-2-3, 3) II In 2002 Koji Arisawa [コウジ 有沢] and Gota Katabuchi [片渕 剛太] fought twice. Their first bout, which came in March, saw the two fighters battle to a 10 round majority decision draw which then lead to their rematch in November. July 10th 2000-Tokyo, Japan Koji Arisawa (24-1, 19) vs Tetsuya Shinozaki (13-6-6, 5) After winning the Japanese Super Featherweight title in 1998 Koji Arisawa was an active champion and in his 5th defense, in the summer of 2000, he took on Tetsuya Shinozaki, in their first bout. December 13th 1999-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Koji Arisawa (22-1, 17) vs Nobutoshi Hiranaka (18-5-1, 11) II In 1999 Japanese fighters Koji Arisawa and Nobutoshi Hirnaka faced off twice. The first bout saw Arisawa win a decision over Hiranaka, the younger brother of Akinobu Hiranaka, looking to avenge that loss. December 8th 1997-Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan Koji Arisawa (17-0, 14) vs Yoshinori Takenaka (11-1, 9) In 1997 Japanese hard hitter Koji Arisawa [コウジ有沢] looked to make the 5th defense of the Japanese Super Featherweight title as he went up against fellow puncher Yoshinori Takenaka [竹中義則]. March 29th 1998-Kokugikan, Tokyo, Japan Takanori Hatakeyama (20-0-1, 15) vs Koji Arisawa (18-0, 15) In 1998 Japan's exciting Takanori Hatakeyama [畑山隆則] took part in his sole Japanese title fight, as he challenged the then Japanese Super Featherweight champion Koji Arisawa [コウジ有沢]. |
