March 12th 1990-Tokyo, Japan Seiji Asakawa (14-1-1, 10) vs Kengo Fukuda (16-2-2, 11) Less than a year after Seiji Asakawa [浅川誠二] successfully defended the Japanese Super Featherweight title against Kengo Fukuda [福田 健吾] the two men would clash again in a much anticipated rematch. June 17th 1989-Tokyo, Japan Seiji Asakawa (11-1-1, 8) vs Kengo Fukuda (15-1-1, 10) I The exciting, and sadly quite tragic, Seiji Asakawa [浅川誠二] won the Japanese Featherweight title in February 1989. In his first defense he took on the hugely popular Kengo Fukuda [福田 健吾], in the first of two bouts between the men.
