December 10th 1983-Osaka-Jo Hall, Osaka, Osaka, Japan Ju Do Chun (13-1-3, 4) vs Ken Kasugai (5-0-1, 2) In December 1983 there was a bit of an oddity held at the Osaka-Jo Hall, with two world title bouts on the show, despite the fact the card wasn't sanctioned by the JBC, instead being overseen by the short lived IBF Japan. One of the bouts on the card was the first ever IBF Super Flyweight title bout, and saw Ju Do Chun [전주도], a 19 year old from South Korea, take on Japan's Ken Kasugai [春日井健], who had been out of the ring for almost 3 years. For those curious this was part of the first ever IBF Japan show.
