July 22nd 1995-Changchung Gymnasium, Seoul, South Korea Hyung Chul Lee (19-4, 15) vs Alimi Goitia (11-0, 8) I In July 1995 Hyung Chul Lee [이형철], the then WBA Super Flyweight champion was involved in a hugely controversial bout against Venezuelan challenger Alimi Goitia. Chul, seeking his second defense, appears to have a very legitimate complaint here following a terrible bit of officiating by French referee Armand Krief. Notably the two men would rematch 7 months later following the bizarre ending.
