In his fourth defense of that title Nakano took on Thai challenger Narong Datchthuyawat. November 3rd 2000-Nagoya, Aichi, Japan Hiroshi Nakano (13-0, 8) vs Melvin Magramo (30-15-2, 18) II In 1999 Hiroshi Nakano [中野博] win the OPBF Flyweight title when he beat Filipino fighter Melvin Magramo. The following year the two men had a rematch, in what was Nakano's second defense. November 23rd 1999-Nagoya, Aichi, Japan Melvin Magramo (28-14-2, 18) vs Hiroshi Nakano (11-0, 8) I In 1999 OPBF Flyweight champion Melvin Magramo travelled to Japan to take on unbeaten challenger Hiroshi Nakano [中野博], in the first of two bouts between the men, who clashed in a rematch around a year later. February 25th 2001- International Conference Hall, Nagoya, Aichi, Japan Hiroshi Nakano (14-0, 8) vs Wanmeechok Singwancha (0-0) In 2001 Japan's Hiroshi Nakano faced off with Thai foe Wanmeechok Singwancha, who was making his debut. Coming in to this bout Nakano was the OPBF Flyweight champion, and for those who followed the Asian scene back in the 00's they may well recall that Wanmeechok would go on to claim an OPBF title of hs own. |
