October 14th 1992-Kokugikan, Tokyo, Japan Hideyuki Ohashi (18-4, 12) Vs Hi Yong Choi (14-0, 7) In 1992 Japan's Hideyuki Ohashi looked to become a 2-time world champion, challenging unbeaten WBA Minimumweight champion Hi Yong Choi. February 2nd 1991-Sajik Gymnasium, Busan, South Korea Hi Yong Choi (9-0, 5) v Bong Jun Kim (23-5-3, 10) I In early 1991 Korean fans saw a rare All Korean world title bout, as Hi Yong Choi [최희용] challenged the then WBA Minimumweight champion Bong Jun Kim [김봉준]. The two would rematch later the same year. January 13th 1996-Jai Alai Fronton, Miami, Florida, USA Hi Yong Choi (19-1, 8) v Carlos Murillo (32-2, 27) In early 1996 Korean fighter Hi Yong Choi travelled to Florida to defend the WBA Light Flyweight title against the hard hitting Carlos Murillo. For Choi this was his second defense whilst Murillo was getting his third shot at a title, after having twice come up short at Minimumweight.
