November 20th 2010-Imus Plaza Covered Court, Imus, Cavite, Philippines Froilan Saludar (8-0-1, 5) vs Remuel Obidos (7-2-1, 2) Filipino hopeful Froilan Saludar may not have had the smoothest of careers so far but he is still one of the country's most promising prospects. Here we see him in an early career bout against Remuel Obidos in a contest for the WBO Asia Pacific Youth Flyweight title. Earlier this year we saw Amnat Ruenroeng defeat Kazuto Ioka to retain his IBF Flyweight title. Following the win Ruenroeng was immediately linked to a fight with Zou Shiming though he showed the mentality of a true champion and rather than yelling about the Shiming fight he openly stated he wanted to fight his mandatory next. Ruenroeng knew his mandatory challenger was going to named a few weeks later when touted Filipino slugger Froilan Saludar took on Puerto Rico's former amateur star McWilliams Arroyo in a final eliminator.
