About 2 weeks ago we reported that Thailand's Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo would be challenging Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachneko for the WBO Featherweight title on the undercard of Manny Pacquiao's bout with Chris Algieri. We know that many haven't seen much of Chonlatarn so here is footage from his "warm up" for Lomachneko. This bout saw Chonlatarn take on the very unknown Wang Yi Ming from China and put on a relatively disappointing performance to take a clear decision win over the inexperienced Chinese fighter. Whilst on paper it was a poor result it is worth noting that Ming has fought as high as 140lbs and was a bloodied up from a fighter who was on cruiser control for much of the bout. It wasn't a great performance but it was a work out for Thai who knows he'll need to be sharper than this to claim the WBO Featherweight title in November. (Note-The video starts in round 4 and features a little 2 complete rounds of the 6 round bout)
