June 28th 1985-Kudok Gymnasium, Busan, South Korea Ji Won Kim (13-0-2, 4) vs Bobby Berna (26-4-1, 14) One of the very few world champions to retire unbeaten is Ji Won Kim [김지원], a former IBF Super Bantamweight who fought in the 1980's. One of his final bouts was against Filipino challenger Bobby Berna.

April 15th 1984-Seoul, South Korea Bobby Berna (24-3-1, 12) vs Sung In Suh (20-3, 7) II In December 1983 Filipino fighter Bobby Berna had over-come Korean Sung In Suh to claim the IBF Super Bantamweight title, becoming the first holder of that belt. The following April the two men would meet again, in an immediate rematch. December 4th 1983-Seoul, South Korea Bobby Berna (23-3-1, 11) Vs Sung In Suh (20-2, 7) I In December 1983 Asian fans got their first chance to see an IBF world title fight, as Filipino fighter Bobby Berna and Sung In Suh [서성인] battled in the inaugural IBF Super Bantamweight title bout.
